"Trust me when I say, you wouldn't even be able to get within 50 feet of Crimson if he's serious enough about this.  He may be mortal and human, but he's far beyond a simple pyromancer.  Underestimating him is going to get you killed faster than you can even blink if you're not careful..." Fang warned.  Leon scoffed and rolled his eyes back at her.  "You guys could easily kill him.  You've done it before.  Hell of a show too." he said.  Fang growled at him.  "We had to literally dismember his whole fucking body Leonidas.  That's not easy..."

The atmosphere between Fang and Leonidas was getting a bit heated...pun intended.  

(BEAR HUG!) 

The soft tone of a lullaby and a sweet voice drew Fang's attention.  "Hey...can you guys hear that?" she asked, a mix of doubt and questioning plagued her face.  "Is someone...singing?" 

Leonidas stopped moving and listened as best as he could.  "I don't hear anything...but if you're not crazy, who and where is it coming from?"

"Get everyone, main hall.  I don't give two shits what they are doing.  Tell the city to lockdown." Fang told Leonidas, who, without question nodded and vanished into the air.  Fang grabbed Caligo's hand and rushed to her room.  "Get Aestus off her lazy ass and into the main hall.  Now." she ordered.  Hey face was twisted with a stern and determined look.  Even her eyes seemed to glow a faint gold with the emerald color.  

(Don't forget the bracelet and necklace that Aster gave them.)

Everyone was accounted for, except for Leonidas.  Fang, Azure, Infinity, everyone, wore weapons on their persons somewhere.  Their attire changed too.  Azure was suited in a rather light, and beautiful dyed leather armor coated in a dull blue color.  Hanging around his neck like a purse was a book . Likely a tome or some sorts, though like Caligo saw, it had the X on its cover.  As well as a small dagger at his left hip.  Infinity, however was quite the opposite.  She wore an extremely dense and heavy-looking armor.  Extremely ornate and clearly layered metal suited for combat.  Just like her jump suit, the same yellow lines came across for her armor.  On her back she carried a large great sword, with a odd rune, but not odd to Caligo, it was the same X that Leonidas showed him.  On both of her hips were two longswords.  Their sheathes seemingly blending into her armor.  

Opposite of the two, Fang and Flare wore some plate armor, but it was clearly designed with light protection and mobility in mind.  Not like Azure's leather armor.  Both shone dully, a rather nice silver shine to them.  Fang's armor, however, was much more heavy in her legs and arms than her torso.  Her weapons were daggers.  And quite a few.  She already held one in each of her hands, but she had two lining her thighs and her lower back and upper shoulders.  On each of the blade, close to the small guard, the same X was imprinted onto the metal  Though the odd part is that neither she, nor Flare, wore helms.  Flare's armor, though, was deeply worn and dented in some places.  Either he hasn't used it in awhile, or he recently used it and didn't have time to take it to get repaired.  Replacing his coat was a crimson colored cape with the same X mark as before.  

Aster wasn't dressed in any armor or for battle, but he rather he only held a rather long case with him.  It was the same one that  Aestus' carried.  


Shit is about to hit the fan...

 

(I was more hinting towards Aestus, but you've a point there.)

"Someone, or something is in Sanctuary.  Where we've locked Crimson up until we were finished with the new Forge Disk.  But I guess someone else has a different plan." Leonidas said.  His ever-present veil still covered what he was or who he was.  But his eyes and voice rang true still.  "Is Aestus' not going to wake up?"

(That's a very good idea.  Trust me.)

"Fuck this!  We don't have time!  Flare slap the shit out of them!  Burn a mini-sun do SOMETHING!  We need all hands on deck!" Fang said.  Flare rolled his eyes and looked at Caligo.  "I could make a mini sun-like object if it wakes her up..."

"The Forge Disk is what connects the Limiter to Crimson's body without it being rejected.  Not everyone who gets medications or new limbs or organ immediately react well, sometimes they have to take a drug or something akin to one to keep their body from literally destroying it.  Well same thing applies here withe the Scale Rust.  And we don't know who the fuck is down there, that's why we need everyone awake!  And by different plan I mean they could be doing some no so nice things to Crimson." Aster quickly explained.  

"THEN FUCKING DO IT ALREADY!" everyone roared.  

(Nudity, gore (nothing extreme), and language is what I asked if you were ok with.  You're more than welcome to tell me if you're uncomfortable with it.  This RP is supposed to be a fun thing, not stressful.  I myself am fine with all three of those things.)

"That's kinda what I've done with everyone.  They are inheritors of my Soul.  Fang, Flare, Azure, Infinity, and even Crimson and the other two users of the Limit System.  And technically Shard, in a way at least." Leonidas said rather dully.  

"I really hate to break it to you, but you need to not be so groggy and get walkin' pronto Aestus.  We've a hell of a problem on out hands and we need ya up and at 'em." Fang said to them.  

(Yeah, that's reasonable.  I wouldn't tread into the deeper ends.)

"Sex." Leonidas said in the most matter-of-fact way possible, Everyone else looked at him and threw tomatoes at him.

"Alright, how that's cleared up, Aestus, can you at least walk?" Flare asked, draping a fire blanket over them.  "I wouldn't want to burden you any further if you can."

(If we did, it would likely have to take place within the DM section.  But site and personal rules would still be enforced.  But now I'm rambling like an old man.  LET'S GET TO THE LOREEEEEEEEEEE) 

"What?  Am I wrong?!" Leon said, throwing his hands in the air.  

"You two stay in the back.  Infinity will be able to shield us all.  If not, Aster will protect you." Flare said and the Castle of Ash began to sink, or at least a platform they were all on began to.  

Infinity, and Flare took up the lead and Agni and FFang behind them.  Aster and Leonidas, along with Caligo and Aestus kept the rear guarded.  Together the platform sunk deeper and deeper.  The walls smoothened out into a circle with deepr runes glowing a blood red and veins of light blue along with it.  Everyone drew their weapons out and waited.  The lullaby began to grow louder and louder, but not loud as one might expect, but it seemed more gentle.

As the platform came to a stop, no one moved.  For a moment the lullaby seemed to stop and continue.  As if shocked someone came.  A small hall way was ahead of them and a dull glow of red, orange and gold came from it.  The walls surrounding the party were heavy and thick rock.  Deep and clearly soaked in some sort of energy-storing material.  Infinity took the lead, taking a step off the platform and drawing her great sword and holding it on her shoulder.  As the others stepped off, they did the same, drawing their weapons and readying for the worst.  Moving slowly and as one, lines of wire and electrical cords line the hallway, which seemed to go on for about 30 meters before seemingly being cut off in the glow of colors ahead.  The hallway was 3 meter wide, enough for Infinity and Flare to walk side by side.  The deeper and deeper you all went into the hallway, the more and more electrical cords began to run onto the walls.  Every step you made, regardless if metal or shoe or barefoot, echoed in the hall.  By the time you reached the end of the hall way, a massive door remained ahead of you, it was clear that anyone could hear the lullaby through it.  Infinity stabbed her weapon into the ground, easily being held up itself and examined the door.  

Infinity stopped the party at the door and turned around. "1 meter thick and 3 meters long.  Can't see the rest since it's deep into the walls.  This door separates us from Crimson whenever we need to replace the Limiter.  We call it Sanctuary since it's the safest place possible for Crimson to ever be in.  Alone in the dark and kept away from everyone 100 meters below the Castle.  It may look like a completely smooth surface, but that only because this door can only be opened in blood.  Which we all collected for this reason and others earlier.  You two, Aestus and Caligo.  What you will see is the same room you saw in your dreams.  It's a mess, a real bloody and gory one at that.  You have time to go back to the platform and wait for us if you want.  But the choice is up to you." 

(It's alright. you actually made me improve one of my characters lore!)

"This is true.  But what will be seen and felt past this door is well over 78,000 years worth.  This is nor for the faint of heart, soul or mind.  I can only surmise at this point who is behind this door.  And if it is true, we are in trouble.  So, let me ask you properly.  Gods of the Sun and Moon, are you final in your choice.  Once you take a step...it's only going to get worse." Flare spoke to everyone really, but the main focus was on Caligo and Aestus.  His veil was shining a confident and brilliant gold.  Whatever the choice, he stood behind them.

(Improvement is the best.  And that's why I gave you a choice.  I'll tell you right now, it won't be pretty going into the room.  No gore/dead bodies, but it's more psychological atmosphere.  And you'll meet one of my favorite O.C.'s I've had for a good while.  On the other hand, if you choose to go away, you'll still have a chance at meeting this character, but you'll have to chase them a good ways if you want answers.  And I don't believe you've ever shown me what Lithokins look like, I believe you did mention what they looked like briefly, but drawing wise, I don't know what they look like at all.) 

(Ah, so they are living stone constructs!  Very cool!  Arithnia has something like this, but not to this degree)

"What about you Aestus?  Do you want to come along?" He asked them.  Fang, Infinity, Azure, Aster and Leonidas all were gathered around the door.
