so i read through nemesis' form to see what trove'd probably know and wow. it is shocking how similiar modern dust and nemesis are conceptually

like. they're both inhuman representatives of wrath, who strike down the unjust and don't fully understand mortals. both are quick to anger, both have a period of suffering that they cannot remember, and neither looks remotely mortal. also they both have something that makes others more likely to be pissed the hell off(nemesis' aura of anger and dust's maddening howl). which isn't fully relevant but it's funny as hell

they probably could've been thematic parallels if it was anybody other than dust.

regardless, it's very fun how both of them came from a fairly similiar concept or at least ended up in a somewhat similiar characterization

Often, imo.

I bet some are annoyed enough with the creature that they often bring the topic to higher ups to only recieve a shrug

thinking about how it's super funny that like. the sole reason prospero was able to ascend the throne so easily, and gevar's flock got tasked to guard anatina, was because dust wanted to spite felix for telling it that murder is bad and then tried to stop it from doing murder

cause, if i'm remembering everything correctly, dust had a chance meetinng with felix and the horse guy, who interfered with its plan to slaughter a village for food and power. and then it went on the deicide spree, killing ishmael mostly because screw you; and then anatina started getting screwed over by famine. and then it got kicked out of the masked ones because it killed a few gods and jackal said "dude what the hells", and went to the CDs to immediately pitch the idea of taking over felix's kingdom because it'd make a good base of operations since they could offer the citizenry what they were losing because of the famines. and then they didn't do anything about the famines, and instead dust found gevar and struck an accord to get her flock to partake in the hostile takeover. then the CDs+Dust found Prospero roaming the outer walls of Anatina when they were about to invade and he led them through a passage straight to the king. And I'm pretty sure that Dust killed a few guardsmen along the way and would've called felix "a little bitch" if it was allowed to swear

if dust doesn't actively want you gone or dead it can be distracted by meat pumpkin. or meat in metal ball, since it offers better resistance while still being breakable by it

technically speaking the dust is trans. it's never had a gender, but it did use to share a face with ash. then it transitioned to a new form, which is significantly less masculine. ergo, dust is trans.

anyways so i've been working on a worldbuilding project for myself and i've realized something. all of the gods are either cthonic or related to like. natural processes. there is one myth person in the sky and they're just kinda hanging out in there. there is no stars or sun or moon yet. i may have made a small mistake

i've come up with three ideas for what the celestial bodies are, and i'd like some. help workshopping them/choosing which one seems best.

1) Pyran, god of crafting and metal and lord of the earth, created the sun and moon as twin artificial gods, both only kind of alive. The sun was crafted to become the god of fire, innovation, andagriculture. The moon was created to become the god of ideas, arts, and metalworking.

3)The moon is the first sinner, doomed forever to run from judgement. Their nature is to steal, taking heat, daylight, and life. probably a psychopomp of some sorts, perhaps taking in those who died via freezing. the sun would therefore be the first victim, with the burning blood of sin's first mark seared into their flesh. Bringing forth judgement, heat, fire as they eternally chase the guilty moon. Possibly also a psychopomp of some sort, taking victims caught in blazes and fires.

i've figured out the sky dillemia! Soltar and Lanufir, twin gods of time(definitely didn't come up with that because of time and chronos), crafted by Pyran in the Deep Forge. Soltar is a machine, meant to bring heat and fire above ground and into the skies. Lanufir is a machine, meant to gift cold and ice to the above world and skies. Soltar's burning eye creates day with its bright light, and Lanufir's frozen eye and thousand sentinels create night and stars.

like. it can't see: colours, things written in paper or similiar materials, extremely fine details in the light, the difference between cooked and raw meat, etc.

but it can see: extremely great in total or even mostly darkness, magical or living things through walls(its mask provides the ability to see power/life/magic), things carved in stone, etc.

it also can't see any kind of detail on an electric screen but that's not very relevant considering that i feel like they're most widely used in the cyber sect aka somewhere dust won't go to because of all the lights

things i need to do at some point:
1) Figure out Ash's history. I know that I want him to have at least one secret that he is hiding from everybody else, and also that he is not native to the world. But I currently have it as ash's general basis for a backstory for the character across all applications. I need to make it more personalized to GGaD.

2) Reword Trove's personality, now that I have a better grasp of the character I intend of them. Reminder to my future self that they are arrogant, however extremely curious and often does not let its ego overwhelm its desire to learn more. Also maybe explore the idea that, despite not being a god, some mortals may worship it anyways.

3) Figure out whether or not I can /spawn Herobrine in Pikmin 4

4) Delete the crawlid.

5) Currently, Dust's personality section is more inline with the common entity, I need to remake it to better match its portrayal in GGaD.

6) Figure out whether or not I want to have to keep remembering that Dust has a vengeance ability. Current thought is no, but considering that Dust is frequently involved in conflict in GGaD it may prove helpful.

7) Remake Critchun's form, to better resemble my current ideas of the character. Remember to add the ability to shape earth, figure out how limited it is in the current age.

8) Figure out how much of my characters' backstories are known by the world. To prevent people from accidentally god-modding and giving information to their characters that the characters should not have. Also figure out what would be needed for a character to be applied as an exception.
