Okay, so I spent some time ignoring a project studying the naming patterns of Fate works. Generally the naming refers to some aspect within the story instead of the Servants' pasts, like in the instance of Fate/Zero, Fate/Stay Night, Fate/Hollow Ataraxia, Fate/Grand Order, and Fate/Apocrypha. Generally the naming uses at least one noun and might use an adjective too
I'm not very familiar with most series though

Anyways, the naming is hard because we don't know much about the plot, and also I do really badly with naming in general. I really like to use big words that I find beautiful, and it doesn't help that I really like the namings of Apocrypha and Hollow Ataraxia lol. All of these factors mean that I'm not sure about naming choices, but I mean, you haven't even put out any ideas for me to reference lol, so for now I'm on my own. I do want to get the naming over with, however. I don't like just calling it the "Fate AU." 

I'm not really sure if you want to go by a single word or two words, so I had two ideas. I don't really like the two-worded variation, though, so here's the primary idea from me atm:

-Fate/Eucatastrophe (F/E)

I considered referencing the deities, but I decided against it. In my opinion, the story centers more around the humans and the Heroic Spirits who are supporting them, so because of it, the name should reflect them more. Besides, considering from a "writer's" point of view--the deities' purpose through all Grail Wars would be the same. If this AU is named after the deities' purpose, then if another story regarding another Grail War is borne, how would it be named? It would be the churning of the same name, over and over again, just in different variations. Thus, the title should more reflect this story and the characters within this tale, not the greater plot that's driving the story, regardless of how much more easy that would be as an alternative.
That being said, "Eucatastrophe" is also somewhat general, but I guess I based it off from my own speculations and views. However, I'm not very inclined to share what drove me to consider the word as part of the AU's name at this time. It's another "writing" reason--if a title is fitting, it shouldn't really be explained. An author explaining their views on a title means nothing if the readers can't get the feel of the title from the story being told themselves. In a similar way, if a teacher has their understanding towards a topic but fails to convey that topic's understanding well enough towards his/her/their students so that said students gain understanding of the topic themselves, the teacher has failed in general. Pulling back to the concept of the story, even if this is really only a story between the two of us, I still consider you a reader. Me as well. I have my interpretations that currently lead me to think that Eucatastrophe might be a good option; but as an "author" of the AU and a "reader" of the story, I really don't think I need to explain it. If it's not an option that resonates to you, then it shouldn't be used.

Well, I can say "Eucatastrophe" is based off my view of where the plot may go and the nature of the AU itself. That's basically it, really. I don't think views need to match per se, because that's, connecting with the writing reference before, impossible for readers.

I honestly don't know how you're seeming worse than me in terms of naming lol since at least I can generate ideas atm, and it's not like I think about the AU constantly lol these days it's inspiration randomly appearing
But hey, who knows. Maybe the one idea you'll come up with hypothetically is really good, while it's pretty clear that I'm stretching it for mine.

Idk lol, when I say "inspiration" I mean the good ideas. I find that even without inspiration, it's crucial to at least try. In writing, I'm kinda a hypocrite, but I do okay in other areas when it comes to lacking inspiration. Though, usually I don't need to force out a title. It just annoys me now, as I've designated it a priority of sorts.

Well, if the priority is being too stressful, maybe it'd help if you tried to come up with a name for Sollux's and Sunny's dad first? I'm not sure how similar the tasks are, but maybe it's a good exercise. idk.
