Firstly, the setting is in HDK's mansion, obviously. Same things, same fancy areas, same electronic servants, ect ect.

HDK, at the moment, was walking around the mansion, specifically the ballroom. There wasn't any music playing, but the young teen was swaying a bit on his feet as if someone was playing the piano. He's carefree, at the moment, not worrying about people and having to be strictly a gentleman. He's humming Für Elise, spinning a little.

The Narrator wonders how quickly it'll take for his carefree, not-awkward moment will last.

Oblivious to everything going on around, there's a certain someone just chilling on a random fancy couch.
It's Amar! The green-haired demigod had stayed at the demigod murderer's mansion for unknown reasons.
He was peacefully reading a book. One of his hands is laid over the back of the couch and he has his legs crossed, just sitting in a very relaxed pose.

Adrik entered the room Amar was in. He wanted to grab a book, but noticing the demigod stopped him in his tracks. Adrik stared at Amar for a bit before speaking up.

"H... hello?"

Amar returned the stare and added a smile.
"Why, good day, my dear host," he greeted with complete calmness. "What brings you to this room?"

Adrik had wide-eyes, but curiosity of Amar overridden any shyness.

"Oh, I was going to grab a book," Adrik answered. "I'm s'pose to read one hour a day."

Adrik skipped over closer to Amar, now completely interested in whatever Amar was doing.

"Are you reading? What are you reading?" Adrik asked.

"Yes, they say reading is good for the mind." Amar shifted in his spot, closing his book. "But this? It's simply a book. Nothing interesting. I'd say... any of the other choices in this room are far better than this."

Amar lifted the book. The black cover had no title or author or anything. It was just plain.

A sly smile formed on his lips. "General information, written by people who believe they know everything. Silly authors. They're truly so, so ignorant."
Amar ran through the pages--an array of paragraphs and blank sheets--just before clapping the book shut. Then he tossed it over his shoulder.

Adrik watched the book fall to the floor. He didn't try to go pick it up, but his eyes lingered on it for a little bit.

Adrik looked back over at Amar, tilting his head a bit before giggling.

"General information? I suppose it must be outdated if you believe the authors to be ignorant. That's interesting, though! I know a lot of things, but definitely not everything! How much do you know?"

The book didn't even make a sound when it touched the ground. It vanished a few seconds after Adrik took his sight from it.
"How much I know?" Amar rested his sight on Adrik once again. It wasn't a very pleasant stare, even though the demigod was smiling as calmly as possible. "Many things, though not everything."

"It's good to know many things," Adrik smiled back, unbothered by Amar's gaze. He had an innocent, kind smile.

"I like information about people and fashion. What kind of information do you like?"

"Thaaaaat depends on how I'm feeling!" He twirled his hand around. "One day it may be physiology, another day it could be celebrity trends, genealogies, and so forth. At times, it is more entertaining to learn information about other people, like you said."

"Oh, earlier you referred to me as your 'host'? Oh! Oh! You must be our guest, then! Father didn't say anything about having guests, though?"

Amar showed Adrik the invite from the day the HDK had hosted his alliance dinner event.

HDK was panicking. He had gone to look for Adrik, realizing he had not seen the robotic boy for a while, and overheard some of the conversation. HDK was not prepared for a guest. He didn't even have tea made! He was a terrible host! Okay, okay, chill... HDK quickly went off to the kitchen make tea.

"In fact, I believe you could even ask him," Amar continued smugly. "Your...father, yes, appears to be a perfect gentleman. I hope you are learning from his example?"

I wanna see people smile someday because I was nice to them! I think being nice is a lot easier than being mean, too. Seeing people sad... it makes me sad. So I wanna be nice so people are happy!"

It took a bit of self-control for Amar to not being laughing right there. His grin just god wider as he stared sideways at Adrik.
The reason was almost too pure, but the demigod couldn't say he hadn't been expecting some kind of "cliché" thing like that.

"Ah, but other emotions are just as interesting to observe. Many would agree that smiles are beautiful...and they are. There are a variety of reasons for which people smile. Being nice is the most common one of them. So common, in fact, that it even begins to seem boring."
