uhhhhhh overpainting is.. painting over something and normal painting is just painting without a base? Some artists are good enough to just start straight away with the colors or values without having to sketch, one day...one day I'll be that good

at this point people just call things a "joke" as a cop out. I'm mostly scared of people like doing jumpscares and stuff cause I'm sensitive to things like that (got traumatized by a game as a child and now I can't see jumpscares without getting nightmares that same night)
