I don’t know if you have Xbox Game Pass, but if you do the game is on there
The story is amazing with phenomenal dialogue. I’m several hours into the game and I haven’t heard a single line of dialogue be repeated once, and that says a lot since the characters do a lot of talking. There’s a lot of characters and all of them are so worth interacting with. If you like Greek mythology you’re going to like this game, though you may be disappointed with the absence of a few notable gods (Apollo, Hephaestus and Hestia come to mind).
Now for the gameplay! I am seriously not a combat guy. I like to stick to my platformers. Hades, however, is so thrilling and so rewarding. It is somewhat difficult at the start but you are expected to die a lot as dying progresses the story and allows you to experience new interactions. There are six different weapons which can be modified in different ways and each force you to reevaluate the way you approach attacking your enemies. You collect different “boons” (blessings from the gods) each with their own unique effects and upgrades that they may give you. In the beginning you’ll be improvising a lot and just grabbing at whatever boons you can find but soon enough you’ll have a wide enough knowledge of all the boons and some control of what effects they give you.
I can’t guarantee that you’ll like it so I recommend you do some more research if you’re interested, but I wasn’t expecting to like it and now it’s constantly on my mind.

I think we have Xbox Game Pass, I'll have to check it out after I finish Deltarune and Skyward Sword :000

Do you think Jesus mech could take on the final boss of atheism, the Heretic Hydra?

If you examine Greek mythology closely you can really see the subtle influences it took from anime

Finished the epilogue of Hades. Absolute banger of a game, probably all I’m going to be playing for the next two months. Favourite weapon’s gotta be the bow with the hidden aspect, paired with my favourite goddess Artemis for the sweet crits
