well here's a real life umbrella sword, it doesn't fit your concept but you can look up some more images for inspiration

No sure how well I can describe this, but I think she usually slashes at her enemies. When it's convenient she will use thrusts to possible get through something defensive.

You know how Link attacks in Age of Calamity? She's sort of like that, but she bounces around a lot and uses her movement to her advantage.

the sword size you want is going to be around 38-40 inches

However, you want her to have a shield-sword combination in one, right? With the umbrella being the shield?

Still doesn't solve my problem of how long the umbrella would need to be in order for it to be that length and still function as an umbrella *thonk*

However Chronos's blade is much like a shortsword's length, right? I'm just kinda wondering is the blade is just the point at the end of the umbrella, or does it fully pop out? How does it actually work?

I assumed it was just the tip

See, the original idea was that Chronos's umbrella had a tip that would slide out the end and make it equivalent in length to a sword so she could use it as a weapon. This could be handled by making the umbrella rod shorter. Kind of like with the umbrella swords Russet mentioned, you press a button to release the tip and press it again to slid it back into place. The tip is shaped similar to a needle, so it's really just a point at the end so it can be dangerous (not that getting hit in the head with an umbrella wouldn't be dangerous).

Yes, back from 2014-2016 when it was really popular. I was always jumped on the bandwagon at the tail end (still do actually). I started using rainbow loom tutorials in 2016 and spent the ENTIRE summer making things with the massive collection of bands I had gathered from buying more looms from some people, and to about 2018, when I stopped making things. Not that I ran out of things to make (couldn't be further from the truth) but I think it's because I mostly went broke and couldn't buy bands and then I got a Switch and that's where all of my money went to.

Maybe I should try it again and design my own Luxray bc that would be really awesome and a huge step for me

Kinda random but I always see Heaven as the "Erza" of the mages. My headcanon voice for her sounds very similar to Erza too but that may just be because they act pretty similarly.
