Yeah I played the game once and died about a million times, had to reset the entire game once because I screwed up Key Cavern to the Point of No Return, but the second time I played it I got the secret ending.

Also, in the remake, the opening and closing cutscenes are anime and I wish there was a Zelda anime

We don't talk about the...cartoon...from the 80s...

Imo it's implied in the games that Link does talk but ah ok idk xD

Yeah the reason he doesn't "talk" (have dialogue boxes) is because he's designed to allow the player to project their personality onto him, so basically he'll talk the way you would talk (if that makes any sense) kinda like Frisk and Undertale.

Although a lot of people imagine certain Links in certain ways from what I've noticed, like a collectively shared headcanon of his personality. The manga actually does a REALLY good job with Link's personality. It's hard to explain, so you should definitely check out the LoZ manga because it's really good. It's not exact to the game (obviously) but it's still really cool and I love it a lot.

True, especially in the later games when they could actually make Link react and stuff. Even in Ocarina of Time Link could emote a little xD

Although, in Breath of the Wild, Link canonically does not talk. Like he can, he just doesn't. At least, 100 years prior he didn't. Due to all of the responsibility of being the holder of the sword that seals the darkness he closed himself off to expressing his emotions and talking, really. He does talk outside of the cutscenes we see him in, but it's implied that even then he does it rarely. After losing his memory, since he has no recollection of that responsibility, he's much more open. Some of the dialogue options for him are more than slightly sassy. Also he's a bit of a glutton and that's only amplified when he's suffering from amnesia.
My headcanon is that even after regaining his memories and rescuing Zelda, he's not nearly as closed off as he used to be. I think he does regain some of that sort of quiet composure, but nearly as much as it was, and he can express himself.
