NEVERMIND I FIGURED SOMETHING OUT

I promise I didn't mean to but I accidentally clicked on you and Time's chat thread and I saw you explaining Dreamwalkers
I'm sorry but that made me think of Link's Awakening and Koholint Island xDD
Offline
Can I just mention that one of Link's idle animations in some of the temples in Ocarina of Time is shivering and then sneezing and it's like the cutest thing ever
Offline
Ikr it's sooo cute xD the idle animations are like, they're fun to watch but it's kidan hard ot seee them from the front lol the camera angle rotates.
Lol now that you mention it, the idea is kinda similar to Koholint island xD
But I came up with it before playing Link's Awakening
You're spoiled for the concept now xD

One way you can get a front view of Link is to face a wall, ZL-target, and then flick the down button to make him face you.
Look I told you it was an accident
Offline
I mean I can get him to front view but after a while the camera rotates back if you're not pressing any keys
Lol it's ok it's not a secret I guess xD
Offline
You need to walk into the wall then ZL-target. The camera won't rotate back around if you're that close.
There were some other ways I figured out how to get a front view but I think that was the most consistent way
Offline
Also in Skyward Sword if you sit on a chair for long enough Link will fall asleep and almost fall out of the chair before waking up and it's absolute perfection
Offline
I really enjoyed finding the idle animations because I felt it gave Link more life and it isn't that he's just a player-controlled character lol

I still haven't progressed more since last time but I'm really enjoying taking more time to check out the surroundings and stuff hahahha. There's a lot more to the game, it has a lot of details xD
Offline
I always love when there are little details that they add to the games that imply the various Links' personalities without actually having him speak. I think it's amazing.
FOR EXAMPLE
In Skyward Sword in Link's room, he has multiple carved statues on top of his wardrobe and a carving block on his desk, and you can get a glimpse of his wardrobe if you open it. It's full of art-type things and pennants and I interpreted that as SS!Link is an art person and I'm all for it

Even with the early games the attention to detail is amazing lol

I turned Ariana's theme into like a wind quintet + glockenspiel thing

Hmm it sounds interesting
I like the original betetr but this one gives a different feeling. It's like more mellow and I like the glockenspiel notes. They make me think of like little sparkles in the music xD (does that make sense xD)
Offline
I see what you mean. I was thinking I could use this as like a variation and still keep the original because you're right, they both give off a different feel.
No, no, sparkles makes sense
