The closest I got to cosplay was dressing up as one of my OCs
I specifically made that one to resemble me so it probably doesn't count lol

I actually went to the same one now that I think about it, just at different times because it was in the same place.

They're held in these huge buildings. I mean, HUGE. One room is GIGANTIC. The rooms are usually divided for different sections of the convention, so you'll have a lot of the artists in one room, so on and so forth. I've only ever been in the artist room because I wasn't allowed to leave it (it was already giant I was not bored lol), but it's really fun. I actually got my pocket watch from a vendor selling them. I also found a vendor that (I didn't know this at the time) was selling ocarinas.

I really wish I'd bought one of the ocarinas I bet there was an OoT one ahjsak

The cosplayers are literally everywhere, so it doesn't matter which room you're in if you want to see them. The convention where I originally learned about the Zelda franchise, My Hero Academia, and Undertale, even though I didn't even learn about them (except Undertale) until like two years later :D

The conventions are really fun I want to go back
