I didn't when I played it but I've seen a clip of it on Youtube. Apparently when you die to the moon, you restart at the first day but you lose all progress you made at the cycle you died on, so if you completed a dungeon but didn't reset you have to do it again.

I think they were different in story
I liked the story of OoT a lot lot but I enjoyed playing through MM a lot more. Maybe because it didn't feel as long as because it was just different. I'm not sure I could say which one is my fave xD

Majora's Mask had really good side quests that helped you get to know them really well and the mask
gimmick was a really neat and unique idea.

I like how in Majora's Mask that they make slight changes to the well-known models (Cremia and Romani's faces are slightly different from Malon's in OoT) or use the NPC models that were easily forgotten. Like, Anju's original model was the Cucco lady in Kakariko Village, and they made her so much more important.

The thing about the characters is that a good number of them look SO familiar and then they're different people xD
I think it's to help build the vibe of Termina too

You mean because it was a parallel universe that was created when Link entered it and therefore it would be reasonable to assume the Majora's mask drew on his memories to create the people of Termina which is why the people and locations are so familiar?
