"Let's hope none of our classes are interrupted with fans seeking autographs," Iollan jokes. "So far, our students sound much more popular than we are. I mean, both in the school and in the general public. Of course, maybe part of the first part is because we give them things they have to do."
Bruh, he doesn't even think about himself and his talent, lol. Iollan's probably pretty "famous" himself. Wonder if he just ignored the fact or actually forgot it.

"The security is pretty strict, though," Germaine replied to the jooking comment with a more serious tone. "No one except for students and staff are allowed in."
Offline
Calix said, "Which is a good thing we have such strict security."
Offline
"Students could be fans, though," Hitan points out, wisely or not.
Offline
"That's a good point. But... don't you think autographs and similar things can be taken care of in the first day? I'm sure it's a manageable aspect of the classes..."
Offline
"We'll see, I guess," Iollan says with a grin and a shrug.

Apollo wondered if any of the students would recognize him as his former Ultimate title. It would be weird, Apollo thought, but at the same time somewhat possible. To be known before meeting face-to-face... Yeah, Apollo wasn't used to it, even with his talent.
At this point Apollo went off into a daze, trying to wrap his head around this. Really, it's not much to think about, nor really be weirded out by, but it's Apollo being Apollo.
Calix said, "It's been a while, but I'm sure the students will figure it out among themselves before it becomes a problem. If they want autographs from the teachers, we can just have them wait until after class."
Offline
Germaine did a quiet humming sound. "That could work. But we don't know our students personally yet, so I guess we'll have to cross that bridge when we come to it."
Offline
Calix nodded in agreement while Apollo still dazed off.
Offline
"You okay, Apollo?" Iollan asks the other.
Offline
Apollo flinched at his name and made a face, slowly returning to reality.
"Ah... ah! Yes, I'm good!" Apollo nodded after he fully processed what Iollan said. "You can say that I got lost in space!"
Apollo laughed at his own pun.
Offline
Hitan laughs. Genuinely, too.
Iollan chuckles as well. Hitan makes bad puns at times. He's used to it. "Alright, good to hear. Wanted to make sure because, you know, we don't have the mattresses for naps here. Unless you all ordered it? Did the heads of the school finally heed some of my suggestions in my end-of-the-year email to them?"
Offline
Germaine grinned at the joke.
"I don't know about the mattresses, but the couch could do for brief naps."
Offline
"Brief naps? Hmm..."
Apollo nodded.
"Brief naps."
Offline
"You've been assigned a duty," Iollan says jokingly to Apollo.
Offline
"There will be due time for sleep," commented Germaine. "Around what hour is your class assigned?"
Offline
Apollo looked up at the ceiling in thought.
"Uhh... in the morning?"
"You're the second class of the day," Calix reminded, giving the younger teacher a nod.
"Oh, yeah! That's right!"
Offline
"But...classes aren't too long, are they?" Hitan asks, confusion settling in on his features. "Or is it that we are usually allowed in late as long as it doesn't impede our work performance?"
Offline
"If the students are allowed to come late, then maybe a similar rule applies to the teachers..." Germaine paused as she recalled her time as a student.
Yeah, there had been a couple of her teachers that seemed to enjoy never arriving on time.
"However, that doesn't necessarily mean we should take advantage of that rule."
Offline
"O-oh! Of course," Apollo nodded, the thought of taking advantage of it causing him to blush in embarrassment. That would be unprofessional, right? Probably. But considering how many times he was late as a student due to staying up all night to graph stars... how many times will he be late as a teacher? As a teacher who still makes star graphs and researches all night? Was Apollo even fit for teaching? Ah, he should probably not go down that path in his mind, he would end up daydreaming again.
Calix said, "I believe that there is a similar rule is correct, but it has been so long that I cannot recall it. Hm... but yes, we shouldn't take advantage of that rule if it isn't necessary to."

((Poor Apollo xD))
Offline
(XD rip Apollo and his sleep)
Offline
"Of course," Hitan chimes in with agreement. "Thank you for the confirmation, Miss. Germaine!"
Iollan smirks slightly and also sighs at the same time, shaking his head slightly. He knows how early Hitan gets up. The lack of sleep problem also exists on some level for Hitan, but you wouldn't be able to tell from the warm glow in his cheeks and the vibrancy within his eyes. Perhaps they're all just reaping the benefits of youth.

Germaine smiled. "Oh, it's nothing. You're welcome. After all, we want to help each other now that we're colleagues. Correct?"
She doesn't lack enthusiasm.
Offline
"Yes!" Apollo agreed. He realized how loud he said that and cleared his throat. He continued quieter.
"I mean, yeah, we should help each other out."
Calix nodded. He had an amused look on under his mask from Apollo's nervousness. It was just first-day jitters, Calix thought, and Apollo would be fine soon once he got to know everyone better and got used to being in the school again.
Offline
"So, since we all have who the students are, have you all made seating charts yet, or are you choosing to let them choose?" the blond teacher asks excitedly.
Offline
Germaine shook her head lightly. "I thought it would be better to allow the students to pick their own seats."
Offline
Hitan's glance diverts quickly to Apollo and Calix. He already knows that Iollan doesn't really have seating to begin with in his classes, so Iollan's skipped.
Offline
Calix answered, "I allow my students to choose their own seating to give them a sense of independence."
Apollo felt a bit flustered because he forgot that seating charts were a thing. He wasn't sure if this had a right or wrong answer, and he didn't really like seating charts anyway, so right after Calix, the astronomer blurted out, "I agree!"
Offline
"And what about you, Hitan? Did you create a seating chart?"
