And rather quiet.
They were silent, almost as in preparation for the next day.
Because the next day was the first day of class. The chosen students--Ultimates--handpicked for their talents and skills, would begin a new year of schooling.
Of course, Hope's Peak wasn't one of those crowded public schools found around the world.
But... Ultimates had a reputation for being rowdy at times.
So, a new batch of teachers has been called for the new class that was admitted.
Class 42-A.
These teachers, recent graduates of Hope's Peak, have been instructed to meet up in order to get to know each other and discuss about their assigned class. Aside from a few other things, of course.
After all, they're going to be dealing with Ultimates for the rest of the year.
That can't be such a hard task...
...can it?

Germaine's soft steps barely made any sound in the tiled floor as she headed for the teachers' lounge. Thoughts of her upcoming responsibilities filled her mind with anticipation, excitement... and was that a little bit of... dread?
No, certainly not.
Once she got to know her colleagues, they could be prepared to face any challeges coming their way! And, together, they'd transform their students into successful people. She smiled at the thought, determination filling her mind.
Germaine walked up to the lounge's door and gently pushed it open.

Calix was already in the lounge, looking through his small, neat stack of papers. He only took a glance at Germaine, which would be hard to notice through his mask. He was preparing himself mentally for the new, unique set of students, and he was preparing himself for the new, unique set of teachers.

(The temptation for Hitan to come last and reference Run is so great, I can't--fjsdiofjdofsjfo)
Iollan doesn't have much paperwork to really reference other than some papers held during teacher meetings that he's holding onto for reference. He gives Germaine a wave from his position in a chair facing the entrance of the room. "Howdy!"
Offline
Germaine had a file folder she picked up from the principal's office earlier that day. She hadn't really looked through the contents, as she was nearly overwhelmed with excitement to meet the other teachers.
Perhaps she was too passionate.
She saw Calix and Iollan. Greeting them both with a warm and polite "Good morning!", Germaine entered the room.
The teacher adjusted her grip on the folder she was holding.
"It's a nice day today, isn't it?"
Offline
Calix nodded, "It is indeed."
Offline
She nodded back. "We're still waiting for other teachers, right?"
Offline
"Right!" said a friendly voice. Apollo now walked in, carrying nothing, his hands in his lab coat pockets.
Offline
Iollan's phone rings. Hopefully this world has phones, or the narrator's messing up spectacularly. With a wave to Apollo and a quick "I'll be right back!", Iollan takes out the door like a rocket, hopefully not bumping into anyone.
That quick?
Offline
An expression of surprise showed briefly on Germaine's face, but was replaced by her previous smile.
"Greetings," she told Apollo and added a small wave.
She glanced around for a place to sit, finally settling on the corner of a couch.
Offline
Apollo waved back before taking a seat.

"We've a bit of work to do today. Say, does anyone know how many more teachers are going to come?" Germaine glanced at Apollo and then at Calix.
Offline
Calix answered, "If I remember correctly, there is a teacher named Hitan that should be arriving, and we must as well wait for Iollan to return. I am sure that should be all."
Apollo nodded in agreement. In all honesty, Apollo didn't know who was suppose to arrive, so he was glad Calix was there.
Offline
Germaine put her hands together. "Perfect! I'm sure they'll be here soon. Oh, I forgot- my name is Germaine, though you probably already kbow that."
Offline
"And I am Calix Azrial."
"Apollo Gatáki!" Apollo half mumbled, starting to daze out.
Offline
Iollan is talking with someone in the hallway, mostly discernable due to the empty nature of the hallway right now, but he has his voice down enough for his words to not be comprehensible.
Offline
"The Former Ultimate Astronomer?" Germaine recognized Apollo. She continued smiling. "Well, if we're doing full names, I'm Germaine Albero."
She noticed the talk outside, but guessed that the ones outside would either enter or go to their own business in a while.
Offline
Apollo blinked a few times, his mind shifting back into focus.
"Ah, yes! Astronomy!"
Calix said, "Germaine Albero... If I remember correctly, you are the Former Ultimate... Gardener?"
Apollo looked excited.
"Gardening?"
Offline
"Indeed I am," she replied gracefully. "Yes, gardening! It may not seem like much, but I put all my heart into it. And I look forward to making our students grow, just like the plants I love to care for."
Interesting way to say it lol.

Apollo nodded, happiness radiating from him like the rays radiate from the sun.
Calix rested his hand on his palm then as well nodded. It was hard to tell his emotions, obviously from the full mask, but something about his body language said he was analyzing Germaine, thinking about what she said.
"Hm."
He then turned his head slightly to study Apollo.

Germaine didn't seem to be disturbed by the action.
"I'm glad to see you agree!"

The voices approach, though they come to a stop very soon, and then the door opens.
Iollan is the one holding the door open. On his face is the grin of his that always seems perpetual, and if anyone looks at him, he just slightly flicks an eyebrow upwards and increases his smile. He has a pile of books in his arms.
The sound of other footsteps arise, however, and someone else steps into the now-open doorway. Standing next to Iollan's impressive height, he seems small. Of course, that is not the case; he's taller than average. But Iollan himself looks fairly young, and he looks even younger, which doesn't help the comparison change at all.
There's a lot to notice about him, possibly because it somehow seems like he's glowing. For one, he's wearing all white, including a white tailcoat, which is pretty much the only indication he's not a student. His hair is a baby blond, and he has ivory skin which is only set off by what seems to be an eager blush. He looks like he could have a halo and wings.
He's also carrying a huge heap of books. When one says "huge", one means "huge". He purses his lips to not cut into the conversation as he tries to look for wherever he's supposed to put all the books.

Calix, now done with his analysis of Apollo, looked over at the other two. He offered a wave instead of words.
Apollo looked up and smiled, "Hello!" He gave an excited wave.
"That should be everyone, right?"

((Realizing that Germaine is the shortest of the teachers xD))
There's a table and a desk if Hitan wants to set the books there.
Germaine's eyes almost seemed to gleam when she set them on the books. She clasped her hands together and grinned.
"Good morning!" she greeted. "I think we're all here now, if what Calix said is correct."
Offline
Calix nodded.
Offline
"Yep, that should be all for this class," Iollan says with a grin, closing the door carefully and then hurrying after Hitan, who looks like he's about to topple over.
Hitan do be making bad decisions though, since instead of putting the books down first he's chosen to smile widely at everyone he can see and kind of wobble in place. Or maybe it's because all the books are wobbly. "Hello, all!"
Offline
"Do you need assistance?" Calix asked, standing up.
Apollo as well stood up, ready to help the Angelic Man.
Offline
"Yes please," he pipes with a smile.
Iollan stops in place. "I'll go get the rest," he informs the others easily before heading out the room again.
...the rest????
Offline
"I'll gladly help as well," Germaine offered and stood to help relieve Hitan of his book load.
Offline
Calix took part of the stack, trying to help.
Apollo almost exclaimed, "There's more?!" But luckily realized before he could that his exclamation would sound rude. Instead, he did the same as Calix.
Offline
Germaine imitated the action of Calix and Apollo. Wonder if Hitan's left with any books in his hands at all.
