I'm not sure how this year is looking for me bc I have lots of projects and stuff to do for my classes, but I plan to at least get hits on friends and the pending revenges from last year. Starting to think that I might have to lower the quality to get everything out in time but we'll see abt that.
Also been pondering on new characters to add. I don't want to have my page full of everyone but maybe I should just... accept I have a lot of OCs I like. Anyways, a reminder to myself to update and create pages. I have one more I definitely want to add for this year.
And speaking of adding, there is someone I have always thought of adding, but never have. Who is that? None other than Germaine herself. It's sort of a pattern for me that I just don't draw my favorite personal characters that much for some reason, I guess. I don't have any current refs for me, and I sure haven't done any proper refs for her in the past. Then there's also the issue that I've always wondered if I should keep her design (considering I have other characters whose design I find more attractive in my page) or give her a slight makeover in style. I mean, I've updated a bunch of character designs (Dion and his ref for artfight, for example), but to me it's so important that the core of the character is kept. I don't know. I keep on thinking about that every year and then... just, well, never do it.

People from the psychology classes are always hosting cosplay events and such and I wonder what the reason for that is ngl

The weather here is insane like it's supposesd to be winter and it was almost freezing the day we arrived but this week it's consistently been in the 70°F???? While next week it's going to be back to freezing I mean I absolutely adore the sun but it's just funny to see the weather
Everything's been nice! Busy busy almost every day but I welcome any activity that isn't writing essays. A nice change of pace and I get to run around and bask in the wind. Also picking up horse riding. And bird watching! I've always enjoyed the shopping experience in the USA (even though I'm not someone who particularly likes shopping except for groceries) just because I like to see how the aisles and checkout are different, even just the items offered and the way people go around buying and all that. But oh boy, the christmas shopping crazy is really insane. Lines and lines of people yesterday,..

Sooo an announcement I guess

My finals end next week! But it so happens that I just received news that I'll be travelling to USA again this year as soon as finals end, so there's that. This has happened before so you guys should already know what to expect, an additional month of almost complete inactivity (though you can reach out to me through Tuti anytime if you need to send a message or something) because I can't check in while I'm out on vacays.
I wish you all a good holiday season in advance and hey, maybe y'all can do some cool activity for this new year's! :D

So there's this character I really like from Forsaken and their name is Two Time right
They were in a cult that worships a (false) god named the Spawn with the imagery of the spawnpoint plate of Roblox, thing is, the people from this cult believe in the second life which they call respawning. Two Time is, unfortunately, mentally fragile, and basically got brainwashed into sacrificing their "best-friend-slash-partner" Azure in order to get that second life. In my drawing, Azure is the guy that's sacrificed dead on the ground, yeah he died at the hands of the person he trusted the most ):
It gets worse when you realize that the whole cult is fake and Two Time basically killed Azure for nothing. anyways.
From this point on Two Time would live with the guilt of having sacrificed the person closest to them. Until they get pulled into the Forsaken realm for unknown reasons (based on a canonical skin, it's speculated that they died from flowers blooming from inside their body or these flowers poisoning them to death. Another theory says hanahaki since their lover is now dead. Another theory says they poisoned themself. It's not even confirmed if they died before being pulled into the realm of Forsaken, though I think it's fitting. Personally, I think the flowers are a physical representation of the guilt that killed them from the inside out, but more information has yet to be revealed in the future.)

In current time, the thing that controls the whole Forsaken games and stuff (think The Entity from DBD) gave Two Time the ability to respawn inside a round. And this had the side effect of making them think that their sacrificing Azure was worth it so now they're... completely delulu and obsessed with their cult thing. Too bad they don't realize it's all a trick.

I'm a little insane over Two Time honestly they feel really cool to me, they're also my current main in Forsaken, I'll get milestone two (level 50) n

I had a professor that was a walking ADHD stereotype like, I'd be surprised if he wasn't actually ADHD. I've never seen a person act so stereotypically before and yet he's been in my top best professors so far in my studies I'm ngl.
So with some things in mind I'm kind of not surprised that he got fired for ADHD-related reasons... but why did it have to be mid-semester? Like genuinely my whole class was mad because it happened without prior notice, one day we showed up and there was another professor. Don't get me wrong, this new professor isn't bad (I have him on another class too), but it's not the same. The class material is different, the vibes are different, time goes by much much slower and I'm no longer looking forward to my saturday afternoon class. I'm not really vibing with this and neither are my classmates.
But the worst thing is that because this professor has a different way of doing this class, we're having to REDO THE WHOLE PROJECT that we'd been working on since the first week. Like choosing a whole different topic and all. My group isn't thrilled. But expos will be next week so we have to catch up. Sigh.
