mostly because i want to avoid twitter and instagram at all costs

finallly scheduled an appointment to get my blood work done again! im so sick and tired of sitting around and waiting for my pain and fatigue to go away so i have TAKEN CHARGE (with my mom's support and assistance thanks mom) AND HOPEFULLY WE WILL BE GETTING ANSWERS???
this time around we're going to do the same tests we did before (testing for any vitamin and mineral deficiencies) but also checking for heavy metals specifically because the house i lived in for the first few years of my existence had a lot of lead in it and apparently lead poisoning can lead to severe fatigue so its worth checking

what's interesitng to me is how badly it was affected by covid. Like I had symptoms of fatigue before 2022 but after I caught covid for the first time it got worse faster, and then the second time I had covid last august was when it really tanked and I've been noticeably more fatigued since. Plus the last few months I have been in near-constant pain so...yeah that's fun, it makes work very hard

i just hope i don't get covid again cause i genuinely don't know if i'll be able to handle it jdhfdhfkhgf

ive been thinking about this place a lot recently so im gonna try and be more active
at least make random silly posts about whatever for once

lets see what else have i been up to

oh yeah i started on the third draft of my novel! work on it has been way slower than on the second draft but honestly this draft is way longer and ive been really busy over the summer so im not really surprised
the funniest thing to me is how you can really see how much bigger the project has gotten like
when i wrote the first draft 3 years ago (ew) i wrote it one month and it was 12k words long. the second draft took three months and was 50k. so far the third draft is over 20k and its been almost six months (again a longer turnaround because ive been way busier and haven't been working on it exclusively)
its honestly wild having tangible evidence of where i started and seeing how far ive come since then. its a bit of a confidence boost i guess y'know? like with kurotama (yes that still exists) its harder because i haven't actually finished a draft for it yet T_T but with my novel i can see like hey this is what it started as and now this is what it is

oh yeah i don't have pictures of the whole thing to show rn because im too lazy to hide my face but I made a full cosplay of Ariana and even made her sword which is easily the hardest prop ive ever made so far

its about three feet long and its. so heavy. mostly because i used drywall compound to make it smooth since I was too poor to buy eva foam so i made it out of cardboard and i wanted to cover up the ridges
its surprisingly durable?? like i thought it'd shatter or smthn given the compound was cracking a little when i put it on but i think the 5 layers of paint and a heavy coating of acrylic sealant helps jfkrhgkjhrkje

i literally finished this the morning i had to use it it was pain but it was SO WORTH IT its one of my favorite things ive ever made for a cosplay
my sister helped me out a bit with it too since she's much more familiar with paint than i am, she actually made the little gems in the hilt. one is clay and the other is wood (bc we ran out of time and supplies), she painted them and then put a layer of uv resin over it so they'd be super smooth and shiny and it WORKED SO WELL JRGHGHJKJHRGKHKJG i wish itd thought a little more about the pommel decoration before drawing it on and failing to draw a circle but uhhhh its fine nobody looks at that part anyway the dragon on the blade is way cooler
anyway thats my sword enjoy
