It originally was supposed to look much more ominous but TwT

I tried adding shadowy figures behind him, as a sort of nod to his backstory. Originally I was going to draw his father as a shadow figure with his hand on Atlas's shoulder, but I didn't like how it looked/I couldn't just get it like how I wanted it. Plus, I didn't want to obscure the veils and clothes

The veils on his head are supposed to be somewhat similar to bride veils, same with the jewelry

This was also me trying to figure out how his father would have dressed him, according to the traditions of Oculum. As well, the piece was originally going to be called "What He Wore", but idk. It's kinda dark to look at the piece while knowing its title ):

I've been thinking a lot about Atlas, he's a tragic character to me. It's nice to think about his future tho

I think I'm really starting to enjoy coloring again, especially rendering folds/fabrics. Still don't like doing lineart despite how nice it looks tho XD

I'm happy the colors look nice, because I was worried it would clash or not exactly match (since I was eyeing out a darker/shaded palette with the base colors being the highlights in some parts)

only grievances I have atm with this piece is: 1) the hands look so weird TwT still can't do hands for the life of me 2)The blanket he's sitting on isn't angled how I wanted it And it doesn't fold over like how I wanted it to

i can see the circles and i admire your dedication to add all of them and keep them all neat and organized??? i would have given up instantly

Good bunch of art as always but I do want to really congratulate you for adding so much detail on that child Atlas piece. I never cease to be amazed on the dedication on the lil details in your pieces ngl
Also I recognize the pose in that last redraw lol (but you cooked with anatomy)

Something funny that happened a few weeks ago that I had to draw because it wouldn't leave my head XD
















Wire sculpture of Solaris I made for my art lab! I got 100% :3c I was going for replicating my drawing style into the sculpture rather than going for realism, and I think it turned out really well :D
