Lyle only huffed and stuffed his hands in his jacket pockets.

"I mean, it's not like we wanna kill so badly," Kyle joked.
Offline
Lyle's right eye slightly twitched at that, making no other reaction.
Offline
"Let's just go. We gotta be there tonight."

((Time Skip))
Lyle looked around, no really impressed with the place....not really.
Offline
"I guess we'll be hanging around here for a while, huh." Kyle looked around as well, mostly focusing on the ivory square door thingy on a side of a... large rock formation that formed a big wall?
"Don't ask how I knew the way here. I think it's lucky we didn't get lost."
Corinne blew out a puff of air. "I'm pretty sure that, a while ago, we were walking in circles through that forest."
Offline
Lyle had walked over to the wall..door thingy and placed his ear against it, tapping it in various places.
Offline
"I think you're too suspicious over nothing," Kyle commented while pacing around a little. He then sat crosslegged on the ground and inspected his sword.
Offline
"I think you're a bit too calm about this," Lyle shot back, turning and leaning against the door with his arms crossed.
Offline
"Well, why would I not be calm?"
"You have a nice sword," the other girl complimented Kyle to ease the possible tension a bit."
He grinned. "Thanks!"
Offline
Lyle only grunted and turned his head to watch the growing darkness.
((I sorry for the short replies))

((It's okay))
Corinne approached Lyle. "Your gun also looked quite fine."
Offline
Making a disgusted scowl, he pulled the gun out with his gloved hand, looking at it before hitting the door in frustration with the butt end of it.
Offline
"W-whoa there," she took a step back, raising her hands in a 'stop please' gesture. "Be careful with your weapon."
Offline
"Why isn't he here yet?" he growled, looking around while his hand tightened on the firearm.
Offline
"Are we supposed to be waiting for someone?"
Kyle doesn't answer, as he was still focused on checking his sword.
Offline
"I am. I already know who's planning to steal this thing."

Corinne looked slightly shocked, though that was quickly replaced by a more strange look. "What? How could that be possible?"
Offline
He moved his eyes down, looking at the pistol. "....Once I knew what we were protecting...I took a wild guess."
Offline
"A guess. Well, don't get too worked up over it. All we can do now is wait and stay alert," she adviced. "And al--"
Kyle piped in, "I'd like to hear your guess!"
Offline
A dark look passed over his face. "...You wouldn't know him." He paused before pushing himself away from the wall. "I'm going to check the outer perimeter."
Offline
"Well, okay," Kyle shrugged. "Suit yourself."
Corinne was annoyed by the fact that Kyle had cut her sentence. But well, they were almost strangers. She wasn't going to complain seriously about that.
Offline
Lyle was barely gone from their sight when the sounds of grunts and scuffles sounded.
"GUYS! OVER HERE!"
Offline
Kyle pretty much jumped to his feet and dashed off in Lyle's direction, sword gripped tightly in his hand.
Corinne took a little longer to react, but she was also off in a moment. She brushed her right hand against one of the short swords strapped to her belt.
Offline
Lyle was in a tight grip by the neck, a man who almost seemed twice his size the owner of the hand that was cutting out his air, two others behind him and trying to find a way in.

((A pretty situation you've put Lyle in o.o))
Corinne was just wondering how in the world she was supposed to handle this. She took the initiative and lunged to free Lyle with a slice directed to the big man's wrist.
Kyle faltered because he had been asked to not kill, and if he couldn't slash at the attackers... then what? He used his sword to kill.
He hadn't expected that situation.

((Hehee >:D))
The man let out a yell, instantly dropping Lyle and backing up, cursing under his breath.
Lyle forced his throat and lungs to open, trying to get some air as he struggled up to his feet. He glared at the man, his hands clenched tightly. His gun—er, at the the on he said that wasn’t his was nowhere to be seen.
Offline
"What are you here for?" She asked in a menacing tone, which didn't quite match what she was feeling at the moment... but it was better to try to be brave.
Kyle raced to Lyle's side and stood there, making sure tthat nobody would approach by holding a fighting stance.

The man whispered something to his partners, who responded by retreating back into the shadows.
”Focus on the other two,” Lyle panted, never taking his eyes away from the main one. “The big one is mine.”

Corinne didn't need further suggestions. She went in pursue of one in less than a moment.
On the other hand, Kyle lingered a little longer this time. "If you need us, just holler," he whispered to his teammate and backed off in a sprint to not lose his objective.
