Re: [@Time@GalaxE@Eliza~Future thread] Just a normal day at the Clocktower

Time nods, "I agree with Nagesh. Many mistakes in war have been made due to poor communication. Being able to see from the Clocktower is already an advantageous point enough to see the forest surrounding it."

Re: [@Time@GalaxE@Eliza~Future thread] Just a normal day at the Clocktower

"Unfortunately, the forest could also work against us in some aspects," he muses. "It also obstructs a view of a clearly approaching enemy, if they do so, of their numbers and stature, presuming they even attack without attempting to put their immediate position as one that would easily devastate. For instance, if they were to place the invasion's beginning point at the entrance of the Clocktower, stations in the forest would do no good no matter how well organized they were set up."

Re: [@Time@GalaxE@Eliza~Future thread] Just a normal day at the Clocktower

"But we can be alert of what's happening in certain areas of the forest just in case," the mage pointed out. "Alright. For communication, we want something that won't be easily intercepted. A private link. And don't worry about my energy; I have more than enough to spare." She smiled, as she knew she was saying the truth.

Re: [@Time@GalaxE@Eliza~Future thread] Just a normal day at the Clocktower

"Yeah. I'm aware of how it can obstruct our view. However..." Time looks to Chronos,

"I know that Chronos's magic may be gone, but she is still a deity, That means she should be able to sense other deity auras, including corrupted ones. If we station her at the top of the clocktower, that could mean she can sense where most of the corrupted deities could be, them being the most important group of the enemy we should keep and eye on."

Nagesh seems to be pondering how wise it is to put her up at the top of the tower.

Re: [@Time@GalaxE@Eliza~Future thread] Just a normal day at the Clocktower

"Hmmm..." Time said, "Maybe placing her at the very top of the tower might be dangerous. Maybe we should find a more secure place."

(Did he think that or did he say that? The quotation marks make it kinda confusing because it's opposite of the narration of "Time thought")

Re: [@Time@GalaxE@Eliza~Future thread] Just a normal day at the Clocktower

"What about the very center of the tower?" Yvinne suggested, rubbing her left eye. "It would make sure the area she can sense is more... has a larger radius."

Re: [@Time@GalaxE@Eliza~Future thread] Just a normal day at the Clocktower

"Where she is may not matter as much as long as we have the protection around the Clocktower set up," Nagesh states. "We could then accommodate her location to be best fit, as long as she and other vulnerable beings in the Clocktower are protected. That includes...anti-teleportation? That is only one concerning aspect, for if the Corrupted Deities and their allies can teleport to Chronos' location, or anyone else's, our effort in making sure they are in an initially safe and secure position would be for null."

(Sorry if he repeats anything; I'm too lazy to reread the discussion so lol, it's my brain not working, not his that's malfunctioning)

Re: [@Time@GalaxE@Eliza~Future thread] Just a normal day at the Clocktower

"That's right!" Yvonne gave a sort of half-clap to emphasize Nagesh's point. "Do we have that kind of measures already, or do they still need to be added?" She asked Time and Chronos.

Re: [@Time@GalaxE@Eliza~Future thread] Just a normal day at the Clocktower

(Honestly I keep putting off responding to this thread because I feel like I'm putting in too many tentative ideas and Nagesh doesn't like to talk all that much. He likes to build on to what others have already said. I also keep waiting for Eliza to respond for some reason. Should I actually keep waiting for Chronos or Jenny or just one of Eliza's characters to say something, or nah?)

Re: [@Time@GalaxE@Eliza~Future thread] Just a normal day at the Clocktower

(Greetings I have emerged from my hole of inactivity)

(sorry if what she's saying doesn't make much sense, honestly I don't remember everything even after rereading the last few pages)

Chronos had been listening to the conversation, thinking. "Time might be right. Even though my magic is gone, I could still sense auras of other deities, both corrupted and uncorrupted. But I'm not sure about surveillance, though. It would have to be the sort of type detection, I guess, because I'm sure that they can make themselves invisible or undetectable to certain types of triggers."

Time gives a kind smile to Chronos (or what he can best replicate), "Glad to hear. I haven't actually came across a diety that can hide their pressesce to others. It's just too... strong. In my experience."

"It's good to hear that then," Nagesh says. "With a communication, defense, and tracking system, I would say that the finer details are well in place to be put."

Re: [@Time@GalaxE@Eliza~Future thread] Just a normal day at the Clocktower

(Maybe not anywhere in particular. I feel like all of us probably share some ideas so them being present in the thread shouldn't be a huge issue. If there are conflicts we could work them out in the Clocktower group chat, right?)

((Well I mean, there are deities who just don't care about hiding their auras.))
((I agree. I think that we're pretty well-coordinated as a group already xD and yup! We could always go to our chat thread to define specifics. Besides, I doubt that even then Clocktower members would bring up and talk about every single point/strategy in one meeting.))
((So, where to now? Do we wrap up the conversation for the time being and transition to fluff? Maybe?))
