Bad summary of Rerise of Poseidon:
Group of dudes try to send depressed goddess to therapy. She refuses so they are forced to try physical therapy. Eventually the only thing that works is music and exorcism

I still love how different Saga and Kanon are despite being twins
They're cringe and dramatic in vastly different ways while they're good and evil and I just find that so hilarious

I successfully identified a gall before I knew what a gall was, yet I searched it up and I am not pleased.
I do not like wasps. They have not wronged me (yet) but I get a sense of foreboding.
AKA I identified it simply because I got the heebie-jeebies. I am hoping that I am spelling that correctly.

Sometimes I think about the Gold Saints' canonical ability to work as a team
It's 0.
If you add in SoG you get the only canonical depiction of them working as a functional team. Most of them go about the same objective...it's not great even then, but at least some pairs are able to attack at the same time and make it look cool. Ignore how Saga and Shaka literally do not communicate with the others about what they plan to do despite being the powerhouses. In that aspect, I respect Dohko.
Meanwhile...canon...I think one of them could get stabbed in front of the other and the other would kinda just yell their name. And then wait for their turn.

Look, even in SoG, it goes like this:
-Aiolos doesn't wait for any of the others and just goes for it. I honestly can't really fault him for it because he's probably mentally still 14, and also the last time he saw his comrades, 3 of them tried to kill him under the orders of the one dude close to his age. So he has reasons to try to be a hero on his own before the situation becomes apparent. Tactically not great but I'll give him credit where it's due.
-Camus becomes a hypocrite and has to be the one traitor
-Idk what communication there was between Mu, Aldebaran, Aiolia, Dohko, and Milo, but see, at least most (5/12) Gold Saints were on the same mission together. That's something.
-6/12 if you count Shura, but he only shows up right after an illusion of himself for some reason. The only positive side is that he manages to do pretty well against Camus (he didn't seem to be having any issue with Camus' ice powers, which I think is pretty interesting)
-In the meantime, Milo runs off and does his own thing. Understandable, but you'd think elite soldiers would have a little better restraint.
-Deathmask is doing heck all. Dude thinks he's in a dating sim
-Aphrodite is doing Heck All (for real)
-Saga is a horrid communicator. I mean I guess he probably acted independently for a reason (last time he was a leader he was preaching about taking Athena's head, and then last last time he was a leader, he assassinated Shion and Aiolos and then lied about all that for 13 years)...but dude seriously couldn't get in touch with at least someone? Shura maybe?? Man.
-Shaka could probably communicate more, he just can't give a heck and so doesn't.
These dudes couldn't write a thesis together (Mu and Aldebaran would do all the work, Aiolia provides moral support, everyone else crashes out)

Omg Sophus /srs
I do have to give Aiolia some credit for going around looking for his comrades (only to get utterly disappointed by Deathmask lol)

I kinda like the idea of Saga and Shura slinking around trying to figure out how they should go about this
Meanwhile Deathmask and Aphrodite cannot care less
And Camus...well.

I do think it's kinda funny that Shura shows up after the illusion of himself to try to redeem himself, while Saga shows up just to beat this one specific dude up. This specific dude had a brother too and that's the entire reason. Thematic purposes.
You can't tell me that Shura getting behind an illusion to try to get Aiolia to strike him down was necessary. Classic Shura. (dramatic as heck)

I better post this before it becomes too late (I have like 17 more minutes but I do also need to go to bed)
It's my forum anniversary!
I think it's one of the only dates of the year that I actually remember without any sort of prompting.
I guess it helps that I have like four characters whose birthdays are in the Gemini cycle (I only remember 2 most of the time though), but I only remember one of them, so I think it's just a special time of year.
Anyway, it's the 7th forum anniversary, and I don't have anything insightful to say or do. But it means a lot to me.
Lots of things have changed, and at the same time, it feels like some things are the same to me.
Life is difficult and confusing, but interesting, and I hope that I will continue to learn and experience more things.
Okay, now back to acting like an idiot on the SS AU (I pretend it doesn't have its claws around my throat)
It would be fine except for the fact that I cannot draw or write. All these years and 0 improvement. Really.

Getting back into playing F/GO once in a while (I love my Servants too much not to)
I did a few Interludes and Rank Up Quests.
I love Sei so much, and I love her dynamic with Douman so much.
I also find it interesting how it seems like Sei is the only person who Douman actually cares for. I guess he has to have a semi-redeeming trait. (I will squirt tangerine juice into his eyes)
I dreamed yesterday night that Changgong was on rate-up again and I cannot stress how funny it was that I was stressed about it.
Still in QP hell btw. (I got Berserker Castoria and I couldn't even finish levelling her up)

I think it's sorta funny how you can find my favorites in F/GO by looking at their Grailed status.
I need to Grail Sei, eventually.

Yesterday I went to buy one (1) thing, and then forgot it at checkout, and had to walk back to the store for it...
Siiiiiiiigh. At least it was funny to someone, I guess. (someone other than my mom I mean. She's gotten used to it)
I've also been watching SPY X FAMILY with my mom! I stopped at Season 2 a few years back before Season 3 came out.
She loves Anya but thinks Yor and Yuri are too loud. And she doesn't like Fiona's personality.
I have been defending Yuri and it goes to show that you can change your opinion by challenging your pre-existing beliefs. I like him a bit more than I used to (he's just so LOUD) (says the one who yaps all day and has borderline attachment issues)
I was kind of expecting her to dislike Damian, but she focuses on his positive qualities and the fact that he's just a kid. I guess I was naive to expect otherwise from a teacher lol.
My favorite character is technically Bond, but I do have a healthy appreciation for everyone.
She also keeps thinking that I cry at everything (I don't cry at everything, just certain moments and the third season's opening/ending)
We're probably going to watch SGYY and SS next, and I'm thinking of recommending Sousou no Frieren...haven't watched that one by myself yet
I probably will wait until the manga release is more consistent (and Season 3 is out)
