"Go ahead and load up.  You're free to eat as you please.  And as for the spirits, that can depend on who you're talking to....

Flare let the topic drop as Fang froze momentarily.  "Let's...erm, drop the topic kiddo..." Agni interjected.  "Did you two sleep well enough?  I mean a whole damn week is kinda insane.".  Aster looked at Caligo rather oddly.  "--among other things too." he said, adding onto Agni's sentence.  

"With wings like yours I'm surprised you can even sleep comfortably." Flare said, gesturing to the wings.  "I am able to keep mine hidden well, but I assume your powers don't allow that extent".  Agni snickered a bit at what Flare said.  "Reminds me of Icarus too.  Poor kid.  Almost poetic that the incarnate of the Moon can "fly" so close to the sun". 

"Agnithara, be quiet and please, do not be so rude." Aster said, throwing a piece of egg at him.  Agni shot Aster a small death glare.  "Ya know old man, it's kinda rude to use my full name.  Why don't ya go and get yourself a wheelchair next to Crimson."  

Aster cleared his throat, everyone was looking at the gods.  "I am sitting right in front of you two.  If you have something to say, say it to my face.  Otherwise, keep your thoughts between yourself".  It didn't take long before the air became heavy and Aster excused himself to the medical bays to check on Crimson.  Flare shook his head and sighed.  "You really need to control yourself Caligo.  I swear, Fang is having an affect on ever--".  Flare was rudely interrupted by a rather large piece of meat hitting it face.  A rather angry and huffing Fang was standing on the table.  "Tell that to my face ya freaking fowl!" she snarled.  

A loud boom came from the table.  Infinity was standing up, fuming and looking like she was going to explode.  From what Caligo could she, Infinity stood at a rather tall 5'11.  Her light milk chocolate skin and striking yellow eyes were filled with anger.  Her rather velvet-silk looking jumpsuit was inlaid with yellow lines of what could be energy or a reflective material.  Running from the sides of her mid calf and up to her stomach before converging into a single line and wrapping over her breasts and over her shoulder and down her arm sleeves.  The leather belt carrying a sword clattered against the table.  "Get out.  Both of you, if you're going to argue like a freaking baby".  She pointed to the main entrance.  "Or you two can clean up and come back.  Your choice." 

(Infinity's jumpsuit is designed like Chell's bodysuit from portal.  Minus the breast pocket and the collar.  Instead of the collar, the fabric is like a turtleneck where it goes midneck and cuts off.  And I wish I could draw, I would love to have visual representations of their outfits.) 

(Oops, I forgot to add that!  She's talking to Flare and and Fang. Since you know...she threw a nice slab of meat at him...)

Flare and Fang both looked at Infinity, a tinge of guilt plagued their faces.  "Sorry Infinity..." Fang whimpered and handed Flare a napkin which he graciously took and cleaned his face off.  Infintiy grabbed Fang by the tail and dragged her back to her seat and rolled her eyes and sighed.  "We have two guests here, please mind your freaking manners." she said cooly and sat back down.  "I am sorry about this Caligo, Aestus, I'm sure this isn't the way you wanted to start your mornings."

"Not that immediately comes to mind.  For the most part, you're free to roam as you please.  But you could always ask us later to see if you want to do anything for us.  I would say you could help Aster out, but I would be careful to tread the water in the medical bays." Infinity replied to Aestus.  

"Or you know, you could party with the cool kids instead of Captain Crunch and Mr. Wonderful over here." Agni said, pointing to Flare and Infinity who weren't too amused.  Fang giggled and high-fived Agni.  

"Don't act like Icarus." Agni sneered.  "Captain Crunch will ruin your day if ya do!" he said and burst out laughing.  Infinity turned beet red and crossed her arms.  "Agni!  Stop!" she said.

Beep...beep...beep...

The sound of a heart monitor filled the room and ears of the two men in the room.  Aster rubbed his eyes and fixed his tie.  "Stable for now.  Limiter function is around 38%, Black Box stability is running at a decent 65%.  Estimated recovery at this speed is 4.3 weeks.  At least you're conscience now Cor.  But you're really pushing yourself part your limit.  Rebellion and the Emperor can only do so much for you.  I don't care if you respond or not, but it's better if you just rest.  Don't go walking around please." Aster's low and weary voice called to the Kyngs ears.  Crimson mumbled something as he slightly turned his head, enough to see Aster's grey eyes.  A rather sly smile crept across Crimson's face.  "No...promise." he said and closed his eyes and swiftly fell back asleep.  Aster's gaze was drawn to the floor as a small trickle of blood pooled around the fingertips of Crimson's left arm.  He dragged a small bucket over Crimson's arm and cleaned up the small puddle.  "Cor...rest assured, you'll be fine." Aster said softly. 

(Oh no, don't bother to keep up the replies then if you need to rest.  I understand the delay.  I hope you get better soon!)

"Mythological being, he was a hero who flew too close to the sun and burned his wings.  Pretty unique story the humans made, pretty sweet stuff too." Agni replied, beaming a smile that practically lit up the room.  

(If you are curious, you should ask someone.  Granted it will be a very touchy subject, so I would tread carefully.)

Agni sighs and shrugs.  "It's a joke, because you kno...you two are sun and moon...and ya know...wing--".  Fang walked around the table and placed a hang on Agni's shoulder and shook her head.  Agni immediately shut up, letting his joke fall.

"Ahem, jokes aside, you two can walk around Hanai all you want.  There is no limit to what you can do, well, in a technical sense.  The people are all revealed, all are ashen bodies, so they can be slightly intimidating.  But they won't lead you ashtray (astray, please laugh...)." Infinity added to the dying conversation.  "Or, you could always leave Hanai, but we can't guarantee the safety of either of you.  

(I'll spoil you  a bit, but it's not just Crimson that everyone is worried about...)

(OH COME ON!  THAT WAS MY IDEA TO PLAY ON LATER!  CRIMSON WAS GOING TO MENTION IT LIKE THAT!  Oh well...I'll still use it.)

"Ya know, I almost forgot Caligo was dead asleep...he's not going to be too happy seeing that." Fang told everyone.  Agni simply rolled his eyes and pushed his chair out and took a sip of water.  "Yeah, I think anyone noticed.  Infinity, let's head into town.  It can be a dateeeeeee, besides...." Agni stopped for a minute and looked at Flare.  "You all heard what Crimson told us.  We're to act quickly..." he said, Both Infinity and Fang looked at Agni, who had a stern look on his face.  "Act in pairs, treat it as a usual day.  We'll shift and aide Aster before anything gets too crazy.
 

(Bahaha, you've got a hell of a creative mind!  Glad we think alike, and it's alright!) 

As the heavy doors opened, the a rather pleasant yet odd scent surrounded them.  The rather nice cobblestone and dirt walkways and roads were all now covered in a smoldering ash and ember.  It smelled like a newly lit bonfire faintly, but carried an earthy scent.  As far as Caligo could see, the buildings and had been rearranged and now formed a more or less, organized yet chaotic semi-circle around the Castle of Ash.  The buildings that were once stone and wood still were textured as such, but like the ground, they glowed a dull ember color.  Even some of the people who wandered were like this.  Some still looked like the Kasani they were, and only a few limbs were seemingly made of ash, while other not so much.  From where you are, you're siting close to the cliff side, the innermost buildings next to you seem to be a market...

(Yeah, it took me a while to even find this place.  I forgot it existed until I joined last year.  It's an amazing place to be in.  And I'm glad you enjoy it too!)

Infinity and Agni donned large black cloaks that put on their weapons.  Both of the two watched Caligo and Aestus' fly around and vanished into the cover of the shadows out of Hanai.

Fang happily skipped out the Castle holding Flare's hand like a little girl would.  "Market timeeeeeeeeeee, yipieeeeeeeeeeee!" she gleefully cheered.  Flare smiled softly and turned his head back to the Castle.  "Aye, but first thing comes first, we need medical supplies for Crimson." he told her, Fang was still smiling skipping around.  "But we got gamessssssssss, and we can see Shard too!  Ooooo, and bug her!"

"Oy, oy, oy---what've we here?  Don't go tellin' me you two are Garcarnian?  I 'ready told the Portmaster we don't take yer coin 'here." a man at the counter said. This one was...ash, full in full.  A man who perished completely.  But his ash-laden body was covered normally by simple clothing and showed no signs of burns.  His eyes were a cool blue and he smiled at Aestus' and Caligo.  It's rather unnerving to stare at a man whose whole body was ash, but his eyes and clothes looked...normal.  

(Garcarnian are the people of a neighboring continent.  You'll see the world map in a bit.  And I leave my regular people undescribed because everyone has a unique and different way of thinking what normal citizens look like, it's there as a sort of 'what do you think' kind of deal.)

"Eh?  I can take 'he coin...but maybe not in a legal 'ay.  I 'ever seen the symbols on 'em before.  But eh, I'm sure no one will matter.  What can I do ya for...errrr..." the man takes a good look at the two.  "Fine people."
