Dalia, more or less playing around with her fan, was still sitting on her throne when Allen entered. She immediately turned to the door with an unwelcoming expression that immediately changed to almost childish joy as soon as she recognized who was there

Allen noticed his sister and stopped at the door. He made sure his clothing was orderly.
"Thank you for escorting me," he told Death in a very low tone. Even if he had been pretty much forced to return to the castle, Allen had a need to be polite.

If Death is waiting for a cue to leave, then... uh...

Well, Dalia stood up and went down the little steps near her throne.
"Hey, Ally, you're here! I've missed you so, so much. What did you think, running off and leaving me all alone? Come, I have to greet you properly." That's not a very dignified tone for someone like her, and still Dalia's voice kept its commanding quality.

"It's good to see you again," was all Allen said. He tried a smile. It didn't come out very well, but Dalia looked satisfied with that. He got closer to the throne with a rather slow step.

As soon as Allen got close enough to his sister, he was enveloped in a stifling hug so tight that it completely creased all his coat and clothes. He did hug back, gently and without complaining from the squeeze.

"I missed you so... soooooo much," she repeated. "Why? Why did you leave? Surely you didn't forget?" 
Without leaving a chance for Allen to reply, Dalia let go of the hug, leaning in to whisper something just to him.

This 'something' got a reaction from the previously calm shapeshifter. Allen pulled back immediately and raised his hands a bit.
"No, no. I didn't forget! I swear by my honor. I could never leave you like that..." Taking a deep breath there, he steadied himself. "My promise remains until the end of time." His composure returned.

The goddess smirked. "Good to hear that, Allen."

Don't worry; hopefully, they'll be dismissed soon! Yeah.

"I got your room all set and ready for use! You... brought your things... I see." Dalia gestured to the case Allen was carrying. "Just leave that. I'll take it to your room later. For now, just come here!" Now she pointed to where she wanted him to be.

Allen nodded. What else could he do? He followed Dalia's instruction. So, for now, he stands in silence at the right side of the goddess's throne.

It was just then that Dalia seemed to remember that Death was still in the room. She turned to see what they were doing.

"Death? You're still here?" The question's intonation was supposed to show surprise, but it was too easy to tell that it was fake. Dalia didn't care about that. "You.... you can leave now. Go do something else. Make yourself useful. Understood?"
The goddess made a dismissive motion with her hand.

As Dalia spoke, Allen offered Death an apologetic smile, as if trying to tell them to excuse his sister's behavior. Of course, he knows that they're probably used to her attitude by now, but he still felt he should apologize. For something that isn't his fault.
